The International Association for Managed Access (ia4ma) is a global, non-profit association founded by Managed Access professionals. The association has its legal seat in Bern, Switzerland.
ia4ma operates in full compliance with its status and applicable competition and antitrust laws.
We strive to accelerate Managed Access for those in need, guided by ethical standards and regulatory frameworks. We aim to unify global efforts, ensuring equitable, sustainable, and timely pathways are available across the globe. We enable cross-stakeholder engagement to raise awareness and education in Managed Access.

Mandatory Bodies:
General Assembly

The overarching governing body of the association and highest decision-making body

Responsible for electing the Supervisory Board

Comprised of one representative per member organisation

Meets at least once per year (virtually or in person)

Decisions are made by majority vote

Provides strategic leadership and oversight and ensures alignment with ia4ma’s statutes including vision, mission and objectives
